Tofurky has expanded its UK availability by launching in Ocado, offering plant-based deli slices and chick'n pieces for home delivery
Iconic vegan brand Tofurky has announced a major increase in its availability in the UK, with a nationwide listing on online supermarket giant Ocado.
Marking the Oregon-born brand’s first major UK grocery rollout since 2020, the move allows shoppers across the country to get their hands on its popular plant-based meats without visiting a physical store.
Already available in UK Whole Foods Markets, Tofurky is now stepping outside of London with this new listing, significantly increasing the brand’s accessibility to UK shoppers.
Founded over 40 years ago in Hood River, Oregon, Tofurky has long been a staple in the plant-based community. This new partnership with Ocado, which reaches over 80 per cent of the UK population, represents a significant milestone in the company’s ongoing international growth strategy and investment in the British market.

Ocado shoppers can now add a selection of Tofurky’s protein-packed options straight to their digital baskets. The initial lineup includes two options from the brand’s popular chilled range: Smoked Ham Style Deli Slices and Italian Style Chick’n Deli Slices, both priced at £3.25.
For those looking to spice up their weekday meals, Tofurky is also introducing three variations of its versatile Chick’n Pieces: Lightly Seasoned, Barbecue, and Tikka Masala Style, priced at £4.25 per pack.
Designed for quick lunches, salads, and dinner prep, the range offers an accessible way for both long-term vegans and flexitarians to enjoy flavourful meat-free dishes at home.

Why is Tofurky expanding its UK reach now?
The nationwide retail launch comes in response to strong demand from British consumers, who want easier access to the brand’s products outside of specialist London stores.
Speaking on the launch in a statement sent to the press, Erin Ransom, Chief Growth Officer at Tofurky, said: “The UK has always been an important market for Tofurky, and expanding our retail presence with Ocado is an exciting milestone for the brand.
“We’ve heard from consumers who’ve been eager to see Tofurky become more widely available again, and this listing allows us to reach more shoppers than ever before.”
Ransom added that the partnership with Ocado serves a dual purpose: “We’re proud to partner with Ocado to introduce our range to new households while reconnecting with loyal fans who have been waiting for Tofurky’s return to major UK grocery.”
