Plant-based milk brand Minor Figures has announced the launch of a new product, Barista Oat (Regenerative), in the UK.
The milk alternative is the brand’s first barista-standard oat milk made with regeneratively grown oats. These oats are produced by the regenerative food and farming business Wildfarmed, whose growers take a holistic approach to agriculture that is claimed to restore soil health and reduce carbon emissions.
Barista Oat (Regenerative) is gluten-free, fortified with vitamins and minerals, and made in the UK.

Our goal has always been to accelerate the transition to regenerative agriculture, and Barista Oat (Regenerative) gives people the option to choose an oat that helps to support farmers and bring back nature-rich landscapes with every sip.”

Prioritising people and planet
Minor Figures’ products are all plant-based and developed with coffee culture in mind. The company is a certified B Corp, and its Barista range is available at over 10,000 independent coffee shops worldwide.
Earlier this year, a major pan-European study found that regenerative farming systems, many of which are entirely plant-based, can produce similar or better yields than conventional agriculture while drastically reducing inputs such as synthetic fertilisers and pesticides.
“We’re thrilled to be working with Wildfarmed to create a UK-first that’s pushing us closer to the future we want to see,” said Stuart Forsyth, co-founder and CEO of Minor Figures. “Barista Oat (Regenerative) takes advantage of Wildfarmed’s pioneering regenerative farming practices, which prioritise protecting people and the planet to create a product that’s in harmony with both nature and coffee.”
The new milk alternative is now available at Waitrose stores UK-wide.
