Juicy Marbles has launched Pork-ish, a high-protein, affordable vegan meat with a Nutri-Score of A. Here’s where and when you can buy it.
It’s the brand behind the “world’s first” marbled plant-based steak and the startlingly realistic ‘bone’-in vegan ribs. And now, Juicy Marbles has launched its latest plant-based whole cut, Meaty Meat: Pork-ish.
The new 180g “mini loin” joins Juicy Marbles’ line-up of realistic, marbled meat alternatives and aims to rival tofu as an everyday staple.
With a seven-minute cook time and a flexible, “deliberately ambiguous” shape, the cut is designed to be sliced, shredded, or cooked whole, lending itself to a wide range of vegan recipes.

Meaty Meat: Pork-ish first launched in the US in March 2025, receiving glowing reviews. Now the brand is delighted to be bringing Pork-ish to homes across the UK.
In a statement sent to Vegan Food & Living, Juicy Marbles co-founder Luka Sinček expressed this delight, confident that with how “warmly” Brits embraced Juicy Marbles’ steaks, the brand is “sure they’re gonna love Meaty Meat.”
“It’s more versatile, a bit more affordable, and opens up whole new vistas of plant-based possibilities,” he continued.
Juicy Marbles is launching Meaty Meat: Pork-ish in over 500 Tesco stores nationwide.
Available from 30 April 2025, it is the company’s “most affordable” offering to date, priced at £6 per 180g pack.

Marble 3.0: Clean-label vegan meat
According to Juicy Marbles, the Pork-ish cut is just the beginning. It’s expected to be the first in a range of flavours of Meaty Meat products.
It is also the first product to feature Juicy Marbles’ new clean-label recipe, part of its broader transition to what it calls Marble 3.0.
This updated formulation reflects growing consumer demand for nutritionally balanced plant-based foods with fewer additives.
The new pork-style joint is designed to be a versatile ingredient, to be sliced, shredded, or served whole in a variety of dishes. Photo © Juicy MarblesCo-founder and R&D Chief Maj Hrovat explained the thinking behind the change: “A lot of plant-based alternatives are too light on essential nutrients… or too heavy on saturated fats.
“People want nutritionally sensible food that helps them reach their daily nutrition goals. Food they can feel good about cooking for their families.
“If we want plant-based meats to be a viable alternative, they have to match — or exceed — the nutritional convenience of meat, while also having a sensible ingredient list.”
And as Juicy Marbles’ “most nutritious recipe to date”, the new Pork-ish cut is ticking all the “nutritionally sensible” boxes.
The Marble 3.0 recipe removes thickeners and preservatives, uses only non-GMO ingredients, and delivers 21g of complete plant-based protein per 100g. The formulation also includes key micronutrients like iron, zinc, selenium and vitamin B12, earning it a Nutri-Score of A.
According to the brand, this clean-label standard will be applied across all future product updates.
Juicy Marbles looks to build on past plant-based successes
Founded with a focus on creating high-protein, realistic whole cuts, Juicy Marbles first drew attention for its marbled vegan steaks.
These products quickly gained traction with UK shoppers, helping the brand secure shelf space in major retailers.
The company’s previous UK launches exceeded expectations, with the Fillet Steak reportedly selling out 86% of its initial Waitrose stock within four days. The same product later became Tesco’s top-performing plant-based meat item at the time.
Following rave reviews in the US, Juicy Marbles is set for another UK success with the launch of Pork-ish, particularly as hunger for healthy, tasty plant-based foods grows.
Tesco buyer Cristina Valeanu said the supermarket was “thrilled” to introduce it, noting that Juicy Marbles “stands out in the plant-based category for [its] satisfying textures, exceptional nutritional profiles, and ease of use in traditional cooking.”
Meaty Meat: Pork-ish is available now in Tesco stores and online.
