Plant-based brand Meatless Farm has added to its line-up

From veganfoodandliving.com

Meatless Farm has announced the launch of four new products – which are all available to buy now.

The plant-based brand describes the new additions to its line-up as ‘exciting’.

Among the new products are what Meatless Farms describes as ‘the UK’s first branded plant-based meat-filled pasta’ options.

These include its new No-Duja Ravioli, and Beef, Red Wine and Porcini Mushroom Girasole. The other two launches are Chorizo-Style Sausages and New York Style ‘Cheeze’ Burgers.

The products are all available from Sainsbury’s stores across the UK now, with all apart from the chorizo sausages available on Ocado too.

New line-up from Meatless Farm

The Beef, Red Wine and Porcini Mushroom Girasole (RRP £3.25) are described as ‘perfect for date night’ by the brand, which adds that the huge vegan pasta parcels are ‘bursting with flavour, without compromising the planet’.

According to Meatless Farm: “The deep umami of the mushroom complements the richness of the plant-based beef and deep notes from the red wine.”

Its No-Duja Ravioli (RRP £3.25) offer a quick fix for pasta cravings, says the brand, which adds that the ‘smoky and spicy ‘No-Duja’…pairs perfectly with the delicate plant-based pasta’.

Meanwhile, the New York Style Cheezeburger (RRP £3.50) offers a classic burger with a twist – an ‘oozy, smoky vegan cheese melt’.

Another one for vegan meat fans, the Chorizo-Style Sausages (RRP £2.75), are ‘packed with a punch of smoky paprika’, and are versatile enough to add to a range of dishes ranging from vegan paella to summer tapas.

Really excited’

In a statement sent to Vegan Food & Living, Morten Toft Bech, founder of Meatless Farm said he is looking forward to seeing how consumers respond to the new products – notably the ravioli.

Morten also noted that items like the new sausages and burgers have arrived on shelves at a good time, as BBQ season is about to start.

He added: “We are thrilled to be the first independent brand to introduce plant-based and planet-friendly meat alternative filled pastas to the supermarket shelves and are really excited to see the response.

“The Cheezeburger and Chorizo-Style Sausages are also simple swaps for much-loved foods and flavours and will of course hit on taste and texture as we head into BBQ season.”
