Greggs fans are in for a treat as the bakery chain is bringing out three new flatbreads to its summer menu this month, starting with a Mexican-inspired one today

Greggs fans don't need to wonder what they are having for lunch this week as the bakery chain has added three exciting additions to its lunchtime menu – and it's great news for vegans.

The popular bakery chain will add three brand-new flatbreads to its summer menu – with one delicious flavour combination available nationwide today, May 19.

The Mexican Chicken Flatbread is made with Mexican style chicken and chipotle chilli sauce, complete with fresh salad leaves, mixed peppers and chipotle chilli mayonnaise.

To the delight of vegans and meat-eaters alike, from Thursday, May 25, the flavoursome treat will be joined by The Vegan Tandoori Chicken-Free Flatbread and Chicken Shawarma Flatbread.

Greggs is famous for its delicious vegan Sausage Roll, and more recently added a Vegan Mexican Chicken-free bake to the menu.

Available in selected shops, the new Chicken Shawarma Flatbread is a street food-inspired dish, made with shawarma style chicken, sliced cucumber and mixed salad leaves.

For those looking for a plant-based lunch, the new Vegan Tandoori Chicken-Free Flatbread will be the latest addition to Greggs' vegan range.

Available in selected stores, it's made with delicious tandoori chicken-free pieces, cucumber, salad with a dollop of vegan tandoori mayonnaise and mango chutney.

All the three new additions will cost from £3.25 on its own, or from £3.60 as part of the cold sandwich deal.

This comes as the British bakery chain has opened another Tasty by Greggs café in Primark in Bristol.

The café is the latest collaboration between Primark and Greggs, which has opened similar ones in Birmingham, London and Newcastle.

The latest addition can seat 102 people, and is located on the first floor of the clothing store's Bristol Shopping Quarter store.

That means, if you fancy a sausage roll while shopping in Primark, you're in for a treat.
